Its good for some people to stay in touch, but i dont think it will last. Just like 'Bebo' didnt

it has some advantages, you can catch up with people who you lost touch with from your past. it probably will be around for a while or until some one comes up with something bigger and better.

it is a good way of keeping in touch with family and friends who stay away but does get boring! i think in time someone will come along with something bigger and better and take the focus away from facebook!!

i think there is a possibility of a facebook life, you can put anything on it, whos to know if you are telling the truth.

and what about people going for jobs....do you know it is a fact that the majority of employers will search sites such as facebook to get background info on prospective employees...are there any other threats like this do you think?

My opinion is ... Use the phone or personally ourselves keep the contact with friends or family.

Perhaps the biggest threat to Facebook is the guy who invented it...he doesnt like what it has done to the world...he says people need to start talking face to face again and being themselves...I tend to agree...

facebook very bad for rumours e.g 14yr old boy got killed after old firm for wearing football top ....rumour started on facebook got to the point the police had to issue a statement saying its not true!
